Rice Cooker Usage and Maintenance

AppliancesKitchen Appliances

The rice cooker is a commonly used appliance in the kitchen, mainly used for cooking rice, making porridge, etc. Correctly using and maintaining the rice cooker can not only extend its service life but also ensure the deliciousness and safety of the food.

Warning

  • Do not touch the rice cooker with wet hands while it is working to avoid electric shock.

  • Never immerse the rice cooker in water for cleaning to avoid danger.

  • If you notice any unusual odors or sounds during use, stop using the rice cooker immediately and inspect it.

Correct rice cooking steps: 1. Measure an appropriate amount of rice. 2. Rinse the rice 2-3 times with clean water to remove impurities. 3. Put the rinsed rice into the inner pot of the rice cooker, add an appropriate amount of water, generally covering the rice by about one finger joint's depth. 4. Close the lid tightly, ensuring it is completely sealed. 5. Plug in the power cord and press the 'cook' button. 6. After the rice cooker automatically switches to the 'keep warm' setting, let it simmer for 10-15 minutes before opening and serving for a better taste.
