Dishwasher Usage and Precautions
The dishwasher is a great helper in the kitchen, allowing us to quickly clean dishes. Using the dishwasher correctly can save time and effort, and ensure that dishes are clean and hygienic. This guide will help you understand how to use the dishwasher correctly and pay attention to some important matters.
Warning
Before operating the dishwasher, be sure to make sure your hands are dry. Operating electrical appliances with wet hands may cause electric shock.
Detergent and rinse aid can irritate the eyes and skin. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Dishwasher Usage Steps:
1. Prepare the Dishes: Scrape off large food scraps from the dishes. Pre-rinsing is not necessary, but larger food debris should be removed, such as bones, vegetable leaves, etc.
2. Load the Dishes: Place the dishes in the dishwasher. Bowls and plates should face the center, ensuring that water can fully contact each dish surface. Place cutlery in the cutlery basket with the blades facing down.
3. Add Detergent: Add the appropriate amount of detergent according to the dishwasher's instruction manual.
4. Add Rinse Aid: Rinse aid helps dishes dry faster and prevents water spots. Add the appropriate amount of rinse aid according to the dishwasher's instruction manual.
5. Select a Program: Choose the appropriate wash program based on how dirty the dishes are. Common programs include quick wash, normal wash, and heavy wash. If the dishes are not very dirty, you can choose a quick wash, which takes about 30 minutes. If the dishes are very dirty, you can choose a heavy wash, which takes about 2 hours.
6. Start the Dishwasher: Close the dishwasher door and start the dishwasher. Do not open the door during the dishwasher's operation to avoid splashing hot water.
